Cheap and Cheerful
Pros: large choice of dishes in unlimited quantities
Cons: state of the bathrooms
"I can't help but like this place. It has received violations from the Board of Health and the ladies' bathroom is filthy. I shudder to think of the state of the kitchen, which customers don't see. The food is not gourmet quality, but the old adage "you get what you pay for" applies here. At $11 per person, you get some good food in unlimited quantities, ranging from fresh sushi from a sushi bar to ice cream for dessert. In between, there is a big choice of Chinese and western dishes. It's all self-serve, so there are no service issues and tipping is under the usual 15-20%. Don't try to speak to the waitresses, as they only speak Chinese. Just don't use the bathrooms and only eat what looks fresh, and you should be fine! I haven't gotten sick yet."
