Best German Food in The Hudson Valley
"Simply the best there is if you like German food. I go at least once a month. It is my favorite place to eat.
The food is always good. They haven't failed me in 10 years. Saturday night the music is lots of fun to listen to while you are eating. The host's Lilly Makes you feel right at home. She is a blessing for the owner to have in the front of the house. "

A nice change from the usual restaurants
Pros: Good Food
Cons: Music was a bit loud
"I had dinner here recently and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Saurbraten (German pot roast) and it was tender and flavorful. Every meal came with salad, bread and 7(!) side dishes, served family style. Dessert was also included. An excellent value for the money.

Service was good and atmosphere was lively.

The German music was a bit loud for me, but there were several other patrons who really enjoyed it.

If you are looking for a change from Italian or chain restaurants, check this place out."
