Awesome Eats
"This was some great fried fish and fries I have ever had! Not only was that good, my son said his burger was the best he has ever had. Ms Cheryl makes you feel at home!!! Will be back again soon, worth the drive for us! "

Home Cooking
Pros: Fresh food made to order
"First things first, the minute you walk into Cheryl's place you are greeted with such a warm welcome by Cheryl and her staff. They are very attentive, but the best thing is the food. My husband always goes for the fish, I order the chicken, which is moist inside and crispy on the outside. Her sides are so delicious after picking two I tend to order an additional side.I've had the Mac and Cheese, Collard greens and Rice with Peas and its all really good.

There isn't any place like it in upstate NY!

"Everything there is prepared with honest to goodness love. You can taste it in everything. From the time you walk in the door until the time you leave Cheryl makes you feel like a friend not just a customer. You would be hard pressed to go to any place and find someone who loves what they do and what serve more than her. Thanks Cheryl for giving the Hudson Valley excellent down home cooking for people on the go."

"WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE IN DINING. THE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL, MY FAVORITE WAS THE RICE AND BEANS ALONG WITH THE PORK CHOPS STILL THINKING ABOUT IT. A BUSY MOTHERS BEST FRIEND. YOU WILL NOT REGRET THE VISIT. WISH I COULD HAVE ORDERED EVERYTHING. OH WELL THERES ALWAYS MY NEXT VISIT."

Worst Fried Chicken Ever
Pros: Good oxtail and sides
Cons: Worst Fried Chicken ever
"First time I went I had the fried fish, mac & cheese and collards which were pretty good, then I had the Oxtail stew which was very good. I should have stopped there, I had the fried chicken which was the worst I ever had. It was deep fried, burnt and nasty,frozen T.V. dinner chicken is better. Very disappointing."

The Food is Outstanding
Pros: I'm salivation right now thinking of the fried plantains.
Cons: The dining area isn't much to look at, but it's very clean and the staff is very friendly.
"Everything from the Fried Fish to the Plaintains to the Oxtail to the Macaroni & Cheese, Cheryl's satisfies with delicious meals. I can recommend everything on the menu. You won't be disappointed. Everything is made fresh and tastes like it, even the chocolate cake. "

Great food, great service, wonderful place to eat.
Pros: Clean, friendly, excellent food and daily specials. Best fish I ever had.
