I would highly recommend not using Jones for you water filtration
Pros: none
Cons: everything
"First of all they put in the filtration system b ackwards. When it still did not work they told me i hsd to let the system sit for 24 hours. When that did not work I got a rep. from the filtration company who gave me several suggestions, none of them worked. All I wanted was to get my old $40filter back, they refused to do\it. I will never use them again."

Tankless Hot Water Heater
"From the call to Jones at 2:30AM to the installation of the heater a few days later Jones was first class. Since they could not get the heater immediately Jones put us up at a hotel nearby for 2 days so that we could have hot water. Service does not get better than that. The work took all day and when they left you would not know that anyone was there. The shower head Jones also installed works as it should. As far as the claims about Jones being overpriced it reminds me of the old adage "You get what you pay for". Jones is responsive and first rate."

They know their stuff!
"All I can say is their guys know their stuff!! From the day each one arrived at my door I felt assured of satisfaction. They explained everything, did work as promised and a super job at that. It was a great friendship in the works. They certainly will be called again. I have every confidence in all of their services."

Busy Blue collar service technician
"Thank you for the prompt service. You had a service technician at my home the same day I called for an intermittent boiler repair. The technician was pleasant and professional. I understand your service rates are slightly hi but in line with other companies. The company I work for also has a call pout fee which didn't bother me either. The only problem is what you charge for parts. You charge homeowners what the government paid for military tools. When you charge $550.00 for a $32.00 Beckett electronic ignitor for an oil burner you should be ashamed. It's just pure greed. I am a service technician so oil burners are small child play things for me. I build and start up 100's of big boy steam stations in the big apple and troubleshoot gas gate stations controls all over the tri-state. I had an intermittent igniter that I scraped with a screwdriver and had spark but it finally failed. I had to work it was cold and I figured I would have a technician from your company change it and look for any other problem. I have heard of marking up prices 1.5x or even 2x, but 13x is excessive. I have used your company to due a plumbing job 10 years ago and it was beautiful but now I feel bad. I was planning on having you change my boiler in the spring with a new one but I think I will buy on line and install it myself. I figure I will have fun doing it and save $3500. Thanks for fixing my old boiler."

Our service rates are for a NATE certified HVAC Professional to come to your home and diagnose your heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical or generator problem, and then advise you up front of the cost of the repair with no hidden fees. Along with any parts that might have been included with our service you should have also received a warranty for the work performed and in many cases we also offer an additional annual maintenance agreement. Everything should have been clearly explained up front. It is your choice to proceed with the service and you should have authorized the work in writing before we proceeded. If you received anything less, than we are deeply disappointed and want to address this immediately. Extremely Professional
"Jones workers were extremely professional and got straight to the job at hand. I like that they took their time to do the job right. The engineer one the job did an awesome job showing me how to use the new system as well as how to get the maximum power out of my new heating and cooling system. I am very pleased with the service I recieved from Jones. "

Very Professional

"I recently had my furnace cleaned by Jones and the technician went above and beyond what I thought his job was. He explained everything to me including what he was doing and what to be aware of with the furnace. Very professional and efficient, I would reccomend Jones to anybody looking for a reliable service company."

Replace hose bib
"Jones work is average but the prices are crazy. The are way overpriced for the work they do.I will never use them again due to their pricing policy. I had a hose bib replaced for 375.00 but to do a second was $500.more. There is nothing special to the replacement and the tech only said that's how we charge. Be very careful."

UPDATE to review of 10/15/10: fixed the problem!
"This is an update to a review I posted on 10/15/2010 and my problem with a broken bathtub after a service call from Jones. Since that time I received a call from John at Jones telling me that he wanted to get my bathtub fixed. He arranged for a company to come and repair the damage and restore the bathtub. They did a great job and I am not only satisfied with the repair, but also impressed that Jones stepped up and did the right thing for the customer. I'm happy to say that there are people in the company who do care about standing behind their satisfaction guarantee. Thank you Jones!I gave a 4 star rating based on the time it took to fix the tub, otherwise it would have been a 5 star for taking care of the situation."

broken tub

"I had a very slow moving drain in my bathtub. There was a coupon in the paper from Jones stating that they would fix any drain for $99, so I called them. The technician had to use a power snake and stopped three times to answer personal calls on his cell phone. He opened the drain and got it running again, but after he left I noticed a large gouge and hole right through the tub (in a circular pattern)where he had put the snake in. I immediately called and the office was closed, so I emailed the manager and he has denied that his technician had done that and blamed the age of my tub (I have photo and email documentation). Yes, my tub was older but it had NO holes or gouges in it before. Now I have water leaking through it (it's my only bathtub and not a common color like white)and I either face an expensive repair, if it can even be done, or the cost of ripping out a tub and tile to put in a new tub. I would never do business with a company again that takes this attitude."

Very Professional and Friendly
"I had scheduled an appointment with Jones Heating & Cooling after seeing a coupon in the Marketplace Paper....I needed my heating system serviced...I am so very pleased with my experience with this Company....From Janet who scheduled the appointment, Anthony who followed up on the day of my service, and Steve who serviced my burner....I found all of them to be totally professional and caring....I will definetly use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs service either on cooling or heating...."

Top Notch Service
"The project was top notch. The four men worked hard, and completed the job in great time. They took care not to make a mess and cleaned any mess they did make. I would recommend them to anyone installing a central air conditioning system. I can't forget the sales person he was extremely professional. I spoke with several company's and I found him to be the most forth coming. He didn't just try to sell me the most expensive system but the right one for my home. He made it easy to make the chose of choosing Jones Sevices.
