"Went here with family with high hopes. The decor was a mishmash of old and new. Looks like home job where they slapped it all together and figured people wouldn't notice. Looking past that the service was a horror show. Waitress did not know who ordered what and had us move our plates around and said "what ever". The presentation on the plates was very poor with no attempt to make anything look appetizing. No culinary skills applied here. The seating was uncomfortable banquet chairs and the tables were old and shabby. We are very disappointed because the reviews don't live up to the hype. Not sure where the reviews are coming from 'cause this was not the place they are talking about. "

"I've seen the billboards, and decided to stop in for one of the $3.99 lunch specials, which change daily. Wait staff will definitely inform you of them if you ask. I've gone a couple of times for lunch, and after lunch, water, tax and tip, you're out for under $6 with soup/salad and a reasonable lunch platter.

Had the chance to speak with one of the cooks while taking a break, and the lunch deal is usually a run of whatever they've had that can find a second-life from a dinner special, or something else tried-and-true. For quicker service, eat near or at the counter.

The remaining menu other than the specials isn't remarkable -- run-of-the-mill diner -- and the regulars weren't ordering from it."

"If you're in the mood for a hearty, inexpensive, tasty breakfast, then Quickway Diner is it. Great cheese fries also, generous portions, and cheap. The Diner is just that, a typical diner. The owners own the car dealership, and Ice cream stand next door. Never had dinner there, so I can't comment. "

" They have there stong points and a few short falls. I take adventage of the strong. I.E. I go there for early breakfast because most of the time, they get it to your table in less then 4 minutes. I go there if I'm really hungury, their portions are very genorus.

As for there prices, a good lunch or dinner for 4 people is not much more than McDonlds and much less if you don't order soda, and just have your dinner with ice water! "

"To the post of 12/15/08, you are incorrect in stating they always accepted credit cards. They did not! When I ate there and tried to pay with one, they stated they don't accept them, and pointed to the ATM machine behind the register. I had to withdraw cash to pay the bill. You can't make this stuff up. Maybe now they do, but when I did at the time they did not. Many businesses do not accept them!"

"I eat at the Quickway frequently for breakfast and lunch. Their food is usally pretty good. I dont understand people who write their reviews. The Quickway is always opened only closed on Sunday night for a few hours. They have always excepted credit cards and when they didnt they had an ATM machine in there as they still do. Yes they sell cars but this isnt a site for car dealerships to bash its a resturant review and they do not sell outhouse they sell Outdoor Wood Boiler's. Some people are just plain stupid. Also for the people trying to speak French this is a fast place to eat and run. Not some fancy resturant. The Quickway is a great place for this area and has always been around and we can count on our late night gracy fries... Quickway is Ok!...."

"Pooor quality food rice like over soaked rice soup without any flavor, small portions misleading cup size bowls almost $9 bucks for 2 meatballs and over done spagetti. taste was sub sub par. Mgr made the bill higher that it should be rip off i just smiled and left."

"I, too, don't understand the bad reviews. They DO accept credit cards, and they are open 24 hrs--except for a few hours on SUNDAY nights, not Sat. as stated. The service and food has ALWAYS been good. The owners and staff are dedicated and hard working people."

"Went there on Sat 8/9/08. Floor was filthy. My niece had chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes. They didn't even taste like mashed potatoes, and the chicken wasn't ckeicken. I would gnaw my own arm off before I would go there again. It was disgusting."

"I wouldn't give this place any stars if I could. The food is mediocre. They are NOT open 24 hours everyday. My boyfriend and I were turned away (because they closed) at 11pm on a Saturday night. He works for a distribution center that gives truckers a list of stops they can go to. I guess they'll have to take them off the list. When they were open the wait staff was awful. We could barely find our waitress. When it was time to pay there was a line of 4 people waiting for someone to come to the register. After 5 whole minutes the woman got off her stool where she had made eye contact with us several times and finally took payment. It wasn't even busy, it was inexcusable."

"I have never seen nything like this in my life - this is the only place where a waitress hands out their business cards to customers to call and complain about other waitresses.

You would think selling cars and outhouses would be enough embarrassment."

"Food in general is good. However, I do not patronize any business that does not accept credit cards. I don't know to this date if that has changed, but I do know that is one of the reasons I stopped eating there.

Skip the used car lot, and if you do want to buy a car there, insist on a title search and a Carfax report. Make sure they sign a document that states the car has not been salvaged or in an accident."

"Any time I go here the food is ALLWAYZ fresh.I bounce between egg toast/pancakes/omelets. EVERY dish is super no matter what time of day!!!! I am away form the area daytime so weekend mornings are a treaty. KEEP UP THE GOOD FOOD!!!!!!"
