"I have nothing but good to say about this Midas shop.
They have taken care of my car for a while and I drive a lot! 118,000 miles in 5 years!
At my last oil change,I asked the rep to take a look at some noise that was coming from the heater or tires. I figured there was going to be some repair cost. They could have found something to charge me for, but they did not. They tightened a belt for me at no charge. Their honesty and good service is appreciated. That is why I will keep bringing my car to them. We all need our cars to be in top shape, and they do the best they can. Waiting is part of our everyday life. If you don't want to wait, call ahead, make an appointment, and you will not have to wait! It is that simple!

Sloppy work and LONG wating time

"My husband brought his new 4-runner to Midas for a tire rotation. He was given his car back with 2 scratched rims! They tried to say that they did not do it and were very reluctant to give any type of refund. They made him drive all the way back to the shop the next day to show the manager and they finally gave him a coupon for a free future service. Why would he want to go back after that?!
I brought my car on 2 occasions for a tire rotation and oil change and even called ahead to see if they were busy. Both times I waited almost 2 hours for them to finish... even with my baby daughter with me! No consideration for customers' time."

Inspection nightmare

Cons: TOO MANY TO LIST
"I am still trying to pass my NYS inspection after $500 and repeated visits to Midas. At first I had NO engine light on and just needed tires and brakes, once I paid them for the tires and brakes the check engine light was on and now they are trying to get me to replace a fuel pump to remedy a faulty sensor, even though it is not safety or emissions related. They also refuse to pass me as of yet. "

DO NOT get a NYS inspection there!
"My car had been maintained by my uncle at a dealership he co-owned. Since the dealership was far away and needed a NYS inspection, I thought I'd go there and be in and out.
My Toyota was meticulously maintained and ran top notch. These guys tried to tell me that my struts were leaking and needed replacement. I knew this was not true. They even tried to take the inspection sticker off the car, saying the car was unsafe and failed inspection. I managed to get out of there without them taking off the sticker, but lesson learned. Anyone who doesn't know anything about cars will fall victim to them."
