"We have eaten there before, and the food is very good, but attention to reservations is the worst I have ever encountered. I made reservations for a specific day, time and table, verified it with the owner THREE times before the date. ( reason: I was told I would get a call back to verify, and never did, so I continued to call to verify myself).

The NIGHT before at 9:30, I received a call at home to "verify" my reservations for the next day at a completely different time, and they could not guarentee me the table I wanted, even though when I first called to make the reservations there weren't any others on that date.
Needless to say, in spite of the good food, I will not be going back."

"We often eat at Bottoms Up for both lunch and dinner. The dinner menu is excellent. Though I usually order the halibut, which is the best I've ever had, I've had many of their other dishes and they have all been delicious. Their portions are large, and though the prices are a little high for the area, it's definitely well worth it. The service is also excellent, and with it's new expansion I'm sure it will now be even better!"

"Ate at Bottom's Up last week after wanting to try it for a couple of months. The service was horrendous on a Friday night. Had an empty beer for about 15 minutes. The waitress was friendly, but it seemed like she forgot about us most of the night.

Food was ok. Had Penne Vodka for an app. That was pretty good. Then I had a sirloin which was nothing to write home about.

The price was a little steep for Orange County. Manhattan prices."

"I ate here a couple weeks ago for the first time with my wife and daughter. There was a nice selection of wine, which I enjoyed. The food was excellent.The waitress Krystal was very sweet as well as the bus girl.Overall it was a friendly atmosphere, I will be going back."

"My husband and I enjoy going to Bottoms Up 2 to 3 times a week-mainly for the staff! Food is decent. We have been going since they opened and I would have to say they need to change the menu a bit. The majority of their appetizers are seafood, and it would be nice to have some more variety. Drinks are a bit pricey but the staff is so wonderful we don't mind. Thanks to Josie and Cathy for always taking such good care of us!!"

"I had dinner at the Bottoms Up on 10/3/09. I have celiacs disease and must be gluten free (GF). GF means no wheat, bread, bread crumbs, no soy sauce. I asked the waitress if they could accommodate my needs and she stated yes. I made a point of confirming that my order was GF. When my salad and entree arrived both of them had toasted bread placed on top! I sent the food back both times and had the meal replaced. By the time my entree arrived I ended up with less that half a meal. Very disappointing! I suggest that your staff become more informed about special diets and conditions such as Celiac disease. There is money to be made serving those with special needs. I paid my bill and left a fair tip hoping that next time will be better."

"As the place got busier over the past year, the food and service has declined. Problem is they are small and overbook, then rush you. Quality has also gone down because they are always rushing. In the words of Yogi, nobody goes there anymore, its to busy! In this case, that will come true if they don't change there ways. "

"I called to confirm my reservation and they did not even have it written down. I was told they hoped they could accomodate my group. Our table was in the middle of the rooom. The waitress was nice but slow. The food was excellent. Perhaps they should be more careful in recording reservations and quicker to return to table to see how food is. Waited a long time to pay check after it was given to us."

"one star because of good food..Never was treated so badly in my life! They messed up our reservation time, even though it was confirmed!Hello?? Thats what confirmation is for!!Made us wait in a tiny hallway 15 minutes, and then told us we were very late and had to get ordering right away..waited forever to get anything from drinks to bread, and when we finally ordered dessert, 15 minutes goes by & they tell us if we still want dessert, to eat it at the bar or take it home!! Hostess and our waitress were terribly rude, and waitress is the owners wife!! Way to run a business!To boot the party that was waiting was informed by them it was our fault that they have a long wait.. Pricey on top of it all, and never told us the tip was already on the check, so they took even more money from us...wouldve known if the check wasnt totally scribble over to cancel the desserts!!lesson learned"

"Sat night reservation was for 7:30 - not seated until 8:30. Waited at the bar with many other disgruntled patrons. The good news is that once seated the service and food were outstanding and worth the wait. Also, drinks were generous and well made at the adult bar."

"I gave them a shot. The food was average. When I ordered a steak, the potatoe I rec'd was so small...it was laughable. Both my wife and I thought, "who in their right mind would send this golf ball of a potatoe on a customers plate?". So I sent the plate back and rec'd...another tiny potatoe.
