SO GOOD!
"I was in town for business and the hotel desk clerk recommended it. I had the Nona's special on Angel hair pasta, it was so good I am craving it today. The homemade itialuan dressing on the salad was fabulous. The service was prompt and attentive."

Best Place To Eat In Town
"?Good size portions with fresh vegetables - not frozen or canned. Excellent prices, delicious food, and very friendly service. It makes me remember the show named "Cheers" for its friendliness. If you attend there regular, everyone knows your Name. A place where the whole family can enjoy a good meal.?

"This friendly dining establishment is one of our favorite places. The food is always fresh and well prepared. Veggies are always fresh - not frozen. And the prices are always value ladden. Ask for Theo or Pam at the door and tell them Bruce & Tammy sent you! We love it."

Busy for a reason
"Stumbled on Union Square while staying at the hotel next door for one night. Felt it was a good sign that they had lots of cars in the lot on a Friday night, and it was. This is a great restaurant, great people, great food, incredibly well-run. "

"A fine restaurant that probably doesnt get the publicity it deserves. Great sized meals, never left there still hungry. Great staff with owners always checking if everything is alright. Have eaten there many times and will continue to do so."

"we can always count on an excellent meal, no matter which of the many selections you choose...always wonderful service and for someone like myself who has been in the restaurant business for over 30 years, you can tell this place has great management, from food presentation,to service, to owner, himself stopping by to make sure everything is just fine...I always feel very confident recommending Union Square to friends and family....and I will continue to do so."

"I go there often the spaghetti special on Wed nights is great a good portion for a low price & it is great,The owners are very nice & always there to make sure everything is running right, The staff are great always pleasant & always there to make sure your happy with the service I highly recommend this place i give them five stars"

Pros: Everything is acceptable - food, service, prices.
Cons: Hopelessly ordinary - a glorified diner.
"It's nothing special. Food was fresh and tasty, but certainly no better than your average diner even though a little more expensive. Staff was courteous, but then again, it's their job to be. In all it's not a bad choice if all you want to do is have a decent meal. If you're looking for ambiance, eclectic, or to be "wow'ed," better look elsewhere. "

"Of all the local restaurants we frequent our favorite by far is Union Square. Abundant food choices with fabulous flavors and competitive prices make dinning a joy. Be sure to leave room for dessert!"

crowded...but great service
"went last saturday night...very crowded, but were seated right away in bar area (booth). My friend has never come here and was blown away by the amount of choices. Really nice server, food was good and they even ran after us to our car when we forgot our doggie bag! This is a gem in Newburgh. GO and eat."

"My fiance and I are regulars here. We have all our friends and family going here now. Absolutely wonderful- food, service & staff. Their house dressing is the BEST ever, and if you are lucky enough for the FREE RANGE CHICKEN special, you gotta try it. Never had an appetizer, meal or dessert that wasn't fabulous... OH and don't forget the CHEESECAKE!!! Great variety of food and always leave there full & with a doggie bag. "

Really great service
"My sister and I went here last night (4/17) and the staff and food were great. 3 different folks stopped by to see if everything was to our liking throughout our visit and the food selection was really vast. Wow. Would and AM telling many about this. Who needs Chili's or Applebees?"
